PS75 at a glance

PS75 is a neighborhood public elementary school providing quality education to a community whose rich diversity mirrors that of our city. We set high expectations for academic excellence. We are committed to helping each of our students perform at or above grade-level in literacy, math, science and social studies. At PS75, students of all backgrounds and abilities learn together. This diversity fosters respect and tolerance and prepares students to be confident, responsible citizens of the community and the world.

Art and music are integral parts of our curriculum. Students’ lessons are enriched by a wide variety of special experiences offered by New York City’s leading cultural institutions.

PS75 believes that the active participation of families is essential to their children’s academic and social success. Parents are welcomed as partners in the learning process. Our energetic and well-organized PTA encourages family involvement and support for the school throughout the year.

In addition to Mr. O’Brien, the administration at PS75 includes two full-time assistant principals, a parent coordinator, two guidance counselors, as well as social workers, speech, occupational, and physical therapists.
